General Terms and Conditions of Sale

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all commercial relationships established between MACOLIDE – Materiais de Construção de Campolide, Lda. and its customers, whether consumers or professionals.

2. Quotes

• Quotes provided are valid for 15 days, unless expressly stated otherwise.
• All prices are subject to change without prior notice when determined by manufacturers or suppliers.

3. Prices and Taxes

3.1. In physical space (Macolide stores)
Prices shown or indicated in-store may be displayed excluding VAT.
VAT is always added at the time of invoicing and is clearly itemized on the final document.

3.2. On the website
All prices presented online are displayed including VAT, complying with the legal rules applicable to communication directed at the final consumer.

3.3. Issued documents
Values are presented excluding VAT on the price line, with the tax itemized in the totals.

3.4. Price reductions
Promotions, sales, or liquidations always follow the applicable legal regime, with a clear indication of the previous price, current price, and the nature of the reduction.

4. Orders

• Non-face-to-face orders must be made in writing.
• After registration, Macolide sends confirmation by email.
• All orders must be secured with a 50% deposit, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Customized or made-to-measure items cannot be cancelled once they have entered production, without prejudice to the consumer’s legal rights.

5. Website

5.1. The website does not conduct sales
The website is not an online store.
There is no online payment, immediate purchase, or automatic reservation.

5.2. Pre-orders
A pre-order constitutes only an expression of interest and does not form a contract.

5.3. Stock availability
Any indication of availability is merely informative.
Final confirmation is always provided in writing by the Macolide team.

5.4. Personal data
Data processing is carried out in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the GDPR.

6. Delivery Times and Transport

• Immediate collection only after confirmation.
• Deliveries depend on the schedule and the Delivery Service Conditions.
• Manufacturing times are indicative.
• Delays beyond Macolide‘s control do not entitle the customer to compensation, only to the refund of amounts paid where applicable.

7. 7. Payments

• Rule: payment upon delivery.
• Other arrangements require management approval.
• Accepted methods: Transfer, Multibanco, Visa, Check, and Cash.
• Card payments may be subject to an operator fee.

8. Warranties

Under the terms of Decree-Law No. 84/2021:

• 3-year warranty;
• Application of the legal hierarchy of rights;
• Manufacturer warranties complement legal rights.

9. 9. Exchanges and Returns

Only when previously accepted, for unused items with intact packaging.
Customized or made-to-order items are excluded.

10. 10. Retention of Title

Goods remain the property of Macolide until full payment (Art. 409 of the Civil Code).

11. Limitation of Liability

Macolide is not liable for force majeure, supply disruptions, strikes, or unpredictable logistical constraints.

13. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

Portuguese Law applies.
Competent jurisdiction: District of Lisbon, without prejudice to the consumer’s legal rights.
