ASD Banho is a Portuguese company specialized in the development, manufacture, and commercialization of bathroom solutions, standing out for its industrial quality, technological innovation, and product reliability. History and evolution

Founded in 1977, ASD began its activity focusing on the production of fiberglass components for various industrial sectors. At the end of the 1980s, the company strategically expanded its operations into the sanitaryware sector, starting the production of exclusive models of acrylic bathtubs and shower trays, consolidating its position in the bathroom segment.

In 1998, a strategic partnership was established between A.S.D. and KOLLER GmbH, a collaboration that continues to this day. Headquartered in Austria with an international presence in the United States, Spain, United Arab Emirates, Netherlands, Malta, and the Czech Republic, KOLLER GmbH is recognized as the world’s largest producer of hydromassage equipment, having contributed decisively to ASD’s technological and industrial reinforcement.

In 2003, as a result of changes in market policies, the company decided to centralize all its know-how on the exclusive production of shower trays, standard and hydromassage bathtubs, cabins, and columns. This strategic decision drove a cycle of continuous investment focused on technological modernization, the improvement of working conditions, and the adoption of environmentally responsible practices.

ASD’s sustained growth materialized in 2007 with the opening of the Warehouse/Showroom in Guia – Albufeira, followed by the expansion of the production area in 2012, providing the company with approximately 15,000 m² of facilities.

In 2017, the new Commercial Area was inaugurated, with 2,500 m² of covered area dedicated exclusively to the storage of finished products, optimizing logistics and market responsiveness.

In 2019, ASD launched Planstone, an innovative product developed entirely by the company for the production of resin and mineral filler shower trays, reinforcing its commitment to research, in-house development, and technical differentiation of its portfolio.

Integration into the RODI Industries Group

On October 30, 2024, ASD Banho became part of the RODI Industries Group, following the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of the company by the Portuguese group based in Aveiro. This step represents a strategic milestone in ASD’s journey, allowing it to strengthen its presence in the bathroom sector and benefit from the industrial scale, innovation capacity, and financial solidity of the RODI Group.

The integration of ASD Banho is part of RODI Industries’ sustained growth strategy, based on the valuation of national production, industrial specialization, and the building of strong and internationally competitive brands.
