History and evolution<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Founded in 1977<\/strong>, ASD began its activity focusing on the production of fiberglass components for various industrial sectors. At the end of the 1980s<\/strong>, the company strategically expanded its operations into the sanitaryware sector, starting the production of exclusive models of acrylic bathtubs and shower trays<\/strong>, consolidating its position in the bathroom segment. <\/p>\n

In 1998<\/strong>, a strategic partnership was established between A.S.D. and KOLLER GmbH<\/strong>, a collaboration that continues to this day. Headquartered in Austria with an international presence in the United States, Spain, United Arab Emirates, Netherlands, Malta, and the Czech Republic<\/strong>, KOLLER GmbH<\/strong> is recognized as the world’s largest producer of hydromassage equipment<\/strong>, having contributed decisively to ASD’s technological and industrial reinforcement. <\/p>\n

In 2003<\/strong>, as a result of changes in market policies, the company decided to centralize all its know-how<\/strong> on the exclusive production of shower trays, standard and hydromassage bathtubs, cabins, and columns<\/strong>. This strategic decision drove a cycle of continuous investment focused on technological modernization<\/strong>, the improvement of working conditions<\/strong>, and the adoption of environmentally responsible practices<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

ASD’s sustained growth materialized in 2007<\/strong> with the opening of the Warehouse\/Showroom in Guia \u2013 Albufeira<\/strong>, followed by the expansion of the production area in 2012<\/strong>, providing the company with approximately 15,000 m\u00b2 of facilities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In 2017<\/strong>, the new Commercial Area<\/strong> was inaugurated, with 2,500 m\u00b2 of covered area<\/strong> dedicated exclusively to the storage of finished products, optimizing logistics and market responsiveness.<\/p>\n

In 2019<\/strong>, ASD launched Planstone<\/strong>, an innovative product developed entirely by the company for the production of resin and mineral filler shower trays<\/strong>, reinforcing its commitment to research, in-house development, and technical differentiation of its portfolio.<\/p>\n

Integration into the RODI Industries Group<\/strong><\/h3>\n

On October 30, 2024<\/strong>, ASD Banho became part of the RODI Industries Group<\/strong>, following the acquisition of 100% of the share capital<\/strong> of the company by the Portuguese group based in Aveiro. This step represents a strategic milestone in ASD’s journey, allowing it to strengthen its presence in the bathroom sector and benefit from the industrial scale, innovation capacity, and financial solidity of the RODI Group. <\/p>\n

The integration of ASD Banho is part of RODI Industries’ sustained growth strategy, based on the valuation of national production<\/strong>, industrial specialization<\/strong>, and the building of strong and internationally competitive brands<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
